Squad - Mortars

Showcase of the recently implemented Mortars, the game is in early access therefore mortars will definitely be a subject to change, as they still aren't polished out. Definitely going to be useful against holed up enemies. ReShade used.

Unreal Tournament 4's Pre-Alpha gameplay on RX 480 a mid-range budget card. The gameplay was pretty smooth most of the time, however the game has not been optimized yet and therefore FPS drops did happen from time to time. You can check the FPS count on the right. 120 FPS is often used for pro-gaming and especially in fast games like Quake and Unreal Tournament. It worked pretty well. i5-6500 8...

STALKER Call of Chernobyl Maxed DX11 Modded
I have watched this movie many times , i love the bond between the father and his son , that last goodbye kiss always give me tears.❤
I read the book first, and then watched this movie. When the Child said “Are you carrying the fire?” Just like in the book - I wept.
I think that the ending should have been like that. the family kill the boy to eat him and survive, I know it sounds depressing but it’s more realistic and we don’t always need happy endings. Now they don’t have to make a scene where the family actually kill the boy but they could have implied to it some how I think it would have been an amazing ending
Ellie: "Swear to me! Swear to me that everything you said about the fireflies was true..." Joel: "I swear" Eliie: "...OK"
The best part after all their tribulations following to road, STAY OFF THE ROAD
This shit is one of the most depressing thing ive seen, man wth
The book is a hundred times worse.
- “We were following you” - “We were worried about you” - “We’re so lucky” All those mom’s lines make me think they were following the kid as prey and waiting for the moment he would be left alone… however we’ll never know. Great ending
It is a great ending, but we don’t see them shaking like a people who only feast on human flesh so I personally believe they were good people looking out for his well being.
"Once there were brook trouts in the streams in the mountains. You could see them standing in the amber current where the white edges of their fins wimpled softly in the flow. They smelled of moss in your hand. Polished and muscular and torsional. On their backs were vermiculate patterns that were maps of the world in its becoming. Maps and mazes. Of a thing which could not be put back. Not be made right again. In the deep glens where they lived all things were older than man and they hummed of mystery."
One of the most depressing book/movies ever made.
That ending was a little too convenient. The moment his dad dies he just happens to run across a nice family with children his age and a dog in a world full of cannibals?
It's suggested theg were following them for some time but never approached until the father passed for some reason
I miss this game
To clear things up to all you folks who think these people will eventually kill and eat the boy, in the book, it’s revealed they had survived off of of real hardy fish living in a creek nearby, hinting that life was very slowly returning. They ate FISH not people! It was also a Christian allegory of Christ’s Disciples abstaining from meat (“cannibalism” in this case) and only eating fish and bread instead.
Wait how do you know they were eating fish?
@@FalloutConnoisseur27it actually said it in the book: the part where the boy reminisces as he grows older how everything in the world “hummed with mystery”.
@@dogewood5499 thank you so much dawg, it’s reassuring to hear that
Great movie although I was within a nanosecond of walking out when they were in the basement of the farm house. The best scene was when he was sitting on the beach and the dude with the 12 gage strolled up,I said to myself "Kid you just hit a homerun cause if anybody is going to make it this MF is. "
Okay. Theyve been following them. AND WERE WAITING because well, youve all seen how crazy poeple are in this world. They were taking precautions to protect thier choldren and wellbeing! And oncw they saw that the dangerous father was gone they knew somthing was wrong. And felt for the boy.
Watch the mans eyes. Hes always scanning the horizon. This guy is a capable survivor. Hes seen some shit and will do anything to orotect all goodness left in this hellscape ruin.
Clarifying some things. A well trained dog would be extremely usefull to track other people. And they can convert the boy into their way of living and "grow the family"
I would choose survival and would find a way.
Sure bro
@@officialtjtrev8910Well that is human instinct. Are you threatened? If you would choose survival "bro", why would others not? Are you just insecure or do not believe in yourself? Put aside your being on the spectrum: we are all humans. What do humans try to do by instinct? Survive. Do we succeed all the time? No. We still try, by instinct. You gotta grow up kid.
there were no more cute little pees or poops. there was no annoying barking or playtime. there was no one to sleep inside the curve of my back. and most importantly, the last thing my husband said to me before he died could not have been put to words -- it was that he liked my drawings and the tattoo I had. He died on my arm, looking at the tattoo of a man and a woman holding onto dear life in the ocean.
"You have my whole heart, you always did."
5:28 Molly Parker was so hot when she was young
No one finds this ending creepy? This is speculative but I believe the family are cannibals. The wretched-faced children are mere livestock and the dog acts as a hunter/tracker for them. The woman’s expression is over the top and feels disingenuous. She says ‘we were so worried about you’ but disregards the father. They waited until the man died before approaching the boy. The knew the man was armed but also sensed he was dying to his incessant coughing etc, so it was only a matter of time. This may sound like a reach but the man’s reaction to ‘do you eat people?’ seems kinda off/strange. Really, a normal instinct would be to quickly say ‘No’! I’ve already touched on the over-excited mom, but I think her word-choice is bizarre and appears fake. She is trying too hard to appeal to the lonesome boy. Obviously the dude is a missing a thumb, make of that what u will. For me, it could imply his previous affiliations w a dangerous group. Finally, this ending is ambiguous. This is just a possibility. And that’s what’s wonderful about McCarthy’s writing. Amazing ending.
Its either a happy ending or bad one just depends on the reader
@@officialtjtrev8910 Yes. The interpretation of the reader is key, as the writer’s perspective is not canon to everyone else’s
@@ElmoElmoSWAZILAND I had my doubts but when i saw the dog i had a good feeling. Dogs are usually the first to go , and the guy didnt have a normal instinct to the boys question "if he eats people " because in that world honestly whod have any instinct or emotion
@@officialtjtrev8910 this is true. Maybe the dog mauls him to death and they eat the boy and then jerk off and swim.
@@officialtjtrev8910 Everyone has instinct. Bugs have instinct. You do not get how genes and nervous systems work, do you?
yes the boys lived. listen to the end credits
What's up with the missing thumbs
Guys can ask you guys something this movie flopped at the box office. But if it didn’t would you guys like this or no they make sequel but instead of drama it’s action heavy. What would you guys think about that?
He was one who had survival skills and realized dogs can be used for a tool and they are more valuable alive not eaten
Carry the fire.
As a father, my worst nightmare would be taken from my son before he was raised.
Can someone say who played the kids of the family?
"Are you carrying the fire?"
In the book, the ending is MUCH more optimistic. Before meeting with the man's family, he helps the boy bury his father. After that, the boy starts to trust the man and tried to give him his revolver, BUT the man rejects it and says, "You should hold onto that".
Maybe because of time the ending felt more ambigous, but at least in the credits we hear that they really took the kid.
I was crying, then I saw the dog and started crying again.
In the deleted scene the boy tries to give the man his pistol. And the man says why don’t you hang in to that. That would make me more likely to trust him
I stopped at the the part where they reached the safe house or basement. That was my perfect ending. The relationship and performance between the father and son felt so real to me. Viggo had such expressive eyes that were gentle and kind which was perfect casting. I think a lot of people can be overwhelmed by the films depressing nature. A world without hope and light, what little light there was, it was carried in very few people like the father and son. The movie should be watched by more people but I can understand why some people stay away from it
One of me and my dad’s favorite movies cried at the end for sure when he crying over his dad 😢
Damn if humanity doesn't changes gonna be like this
Just finished the book. The part where the Man says that he'll always be there to talk to the Son absolutely broke me. Fantastic novel
Sad that the woman at the end was a better mother to the boy than his biological mother.
Not sure why, but i cried when i see the dog… am i weak?
The Last of Us ?
I feel a lot of the dialogue is rushed in the movie. It just sounds scripted rather than allowing more time for characters to think
The end credits u hear children laughing as if the sun managed to shine again
2023 this movie is still a masterpiece
They have a dog that isnt skinny. That says what couldve happened here regarding the ending.
Papa will be looking at you always. Look up, one of the star you see is your papa. He see you, you see him.
These people are so sweet and kind, in an apocalypse that's the people I'd trust, that's who I'd want to have on my side.
I think it really speaks to the brutality of this post-apocalyptic world where the audience wonders the date of the child. Usually, children are off limits when they’re the main characters in these stories. In this one, there’s a good chance the boy was possibly cannibalized.

Could only watch the film in its entirety once. A great but utterly depressibg film, was glad that it ended on a small note of hope. Even in the most dire circumstances, there are still those who held onto their humanity for what time they have left, carrying the fire.
